A Prefeitura de Varginha apresentou um relatório sobre o Mutirão de Combate à Dengue, que ocorreu esta semana. Durante a ação, foram recolhidos quatro caminhões de materiais que não servem mais, além de 62 pneus que poderiam se tornar criadouros do mosquito da dengue, transmissor da doença.
O mutirão foi realizado nos bairros Parque Mariela, Parque das Américas e Porto Real. A equipe da Vigilância Ambiental aproveitou a oportunidade para atender a um pedido da Guarda Civil Municipal e fez a limpeza de uma Área de Preservação Permanente, onde havia a criação de cavalos.
Na próxima semana, o mutirão será realizado no bairro San Marino. A Prefeitura pede que os moradores façam uma limpeza em suas casas e deixem móveis e outros itens que não utilizam mais na rua. É importante que tudo esteja disponível para a coleta até as 7h da manhã da próxima quarta-feira, dia 17. A colaboração da população é fundamental para o sucesso da ação e para o combate ao mosquito da dengue, que pode causar sérios riscos de saúde.
