Polícia apreende pneus e cigarros na rodovia MS-164

Durante uma operação de fiscalização de trânsito e combate a crimes transfronteiriços, realizada na rodovia MS-164, a Polícia Militar Rodoviária abordou um caminhão-baú. O motorista informou que estava transportando pneus inservíveis. No entanto, ao inspecionar a carga, os policiais descobriram, escondidos atrás de pneus velhos, cerca de 60 pneus novos de caminhão e 14 pneus novos de veículos de passeio e utilitários, todos de origem estrangeira. Além disso, havia também 42 pneus usados de caminhão e 19 pneus usados de carros de passeio.

O motorista não apresentou documentação legal para a importação da carga. Diante das irregularidades, tanto o veículo quanto a carga foram encaminhados à Polícia Federal em Ponta Porã. O valor estimado da mercadoria é de R$ 105.520,00, além do caminhão, que está avaliado em R$ 250.000,00.

Em outra ação na mesma região, a polícia apreendeu 500 pacotes de cigarros contrabandeados que estavam sendo transportados em um carro de passeio. A motorista, ao ser interrogada, informou que a mercadoria tinha sido comprada na área de fronteira e estava sendo levada para a cidade de Maracaju. A mulher, o veículo e os cigarros foram também encaminhados para a Polícia Federal.

Essas operações refletem os esforços das autoridades em combater atividades ilegais na região de fronteira, buscando garantir a segurança e a legalidade nas estradas.
