Dunlop apresenta práticas para minimizar riscos em emergências

A instalação correta de pneus novos no eixo traseiro é tema de orientações divulgadas por uma fabricante de pneus, que visa ajudar os motoristas na manutenção preventiva. A troca de pneus é uma dúvida comum entre condutores, e as práticas recomendadas têm um impacto direto na segurança e no comportamento do veículo.

De acordo com um especialista da empresa, pneus traseiros mais aderentes são essenciais em situações como frenagens bruscas ou em curvas em piso molhado. Esses pneus ajudam a manter a estabilidade do veículo e evitam o que é conhecido como “saída de traseira”, um movimento difícil de controlar e potencialmente perigoso.

A segurança do carro depende muito do eixo traseiro, especialmente em situações de risco, como manobras repentinas ou em estradas molhadas. Pneus traseiros em mau estado podem perder aderência rapidamente, levando ao giro do carro. Enquanto a derrapagem dianteira pode ser mais previsível para o motorista, a perda de controle na parte traseira é mais difícil de corrigir.

Outros fatores importantes para a estabilidade do veículo incluem a capacidade dos pneus em expelir água, que é aprimorada com sulcos mais profundos, e a forma como o motorista controla a direção. Sendo assim, é crucial garantir que os pneus traseiros tenham boa aderência.

Em caso de uma freada de emergência, a transferência do peso para a frente pode causar o travamento das rodas traseiras se estas forem antigas e desgastadas. Isso pode dificultar o controle do carro, e instalar pneus novos atrás reduz esse risco, ajudando o veículo a seguir sua trajetória.

A fabricante também recomenda que, ao trocar pneus, a substituição deve ser feita em pares. Isso significa que os pneus do mesmo eixo devem ser iguais. Trocar apenas um pneu pode criar diferenças de desempenho entre os lados do carro, o que pode ser problemático na hora de fazer curvas ou parar.

Além disso, a empresa enfatiza a importância do rodízio dos pneus, que deve ser realizado a cada 5 mil a 10 mil quilômetros, dependendo do desenho da banda de rodagem.
