Bridgestone apresenta novo pneu ultraesportivo

A Bridgestone lançou seu novo pneu ultra-desportivo, o Potenza RE-71RZ, que promete alto desempenho para carros. Este pneu é o sucessor do Potenza RE-71RS, conhecido por vencer diversos campeonatos. O objetivo do RE-71RZ é oferecer tempos de volta mais rápidos e maior precisão, tanto em estradas quanto em pistas de corrida. O modelo incorpora a tecnologia ENLITEN, que combina um desempenho elevado com um enfoque na sustentabilidade.

Em testes realizados no circuito de Tsukuba, no Japão, o Potenza RE-71RZ apresentou uma performance impressionante, sendo 0,74 segundos mais rápido em condições secas e 0,75 segundos mais rápido em piso molhado em comparação ao modelo anterior. A precisão na direção foi aprimorada graças ao novo design da banda de rodagem, que é mais rígido e tem um ombro exterior mais largo, resultando em melhor aderência e estabilidade em diversas condições.

O pneu utiliza novos compostos de alta performance, desenvolvidos a partir da experiência em competições, e uma tecnologia chamada NanoPro-Tech. Essa tecnologia melhora a estrutura da borracha utilizando partículas de sílica e polímeros, aumentando a aderência em diferentes superfícies. O design do piso também foi otimizado para maximizar o contato com o solo, com ombros tipo “slick” que proporcionam rigidez e ranhuras largas que ajudam na drenagem da água.

A estrutura do RE-71RZ foi ajustada com o auxílio da ferramenta digital ULTIMAT EYE, que possibilita uma área de contato mais uniforme, melhorando a aderência em curvas. O desenvolvimento desse pneu contou com a participação de pilotos experientes, como Masahiro Sasaki, campeão da Toyota Gazoo GR Cup em 2016, e Yuji Tachikawa, tricampeão da série GT500. Durante os testes, os pilotos conseguiram completar voltas cerca de 0,7 segundos mais rápidas com o novo modelo em relação ao anterior.

Os pilotos destacaram que o Potenza RE-71RZ proporciona uma excelente aderência e controle, sendo eficiente tanto em condições secas quanto molhadas, permitindo tempos de volta mais rápidos e maior durabilidade durante as corridas. De acordo com eles, o pneu foi projetado para garantir uma condução precisa, aquecendo rapidamente e mantendo um desempenho consistente.

O Potenza RE-71RZ atende às normas do Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) e estará disponível para competições Solo e Time Trials a partir de 2026. O pneu será comercializado em 45 tamanhos diferentes e começará a ser vendido na América do Norte no dia 31 de dezembro de 2025.
