A Michelin Espanha e Portugal passará por uma mudança na liderança em abril de 2026. María Paz Robina, que ocupa a presidência da empresa há mais de sete anos, deixará o cargo, sendo sucedida por César Moñux.
María Paz Robina tem uma longa trajetória na Michelin, onde ocupou diversas posições importantes ao longo dos anos. Ela iniciou sua carreira em áreas como qualidade, fabricação e recursos humanos. Em 2009, fez história ao se tornar a primeira mulher a liderar uma fábrica da Michelin na Espanha, comandando as unidades de Aranda de Duero e Vitoria Gasteiz. Desde 2019, ocupa a posição de diretora nacional e presidente da Michelin em Espanha e Portugal, além de ter presidido a Fundación Michelin em Espanha e Portugal, a SIGNUS Ecovalor e o cluster automotivo de Castela e Leão.
Robina comentou sobre sua decisão de deixar a presidência, afirmando que é um passo difícil, mas que acredita ser o momento certo, tanto pessoal como profissionalmente. Ela expressou sua gratidão pelas experiências e desafios enfrentados durante sua gestão.
César Moñux, o novo presidente, possui um doutorado em engenharia industrial e graduação em administração de empresas. Ele começou a carreira na Michelin em 2002, na fábrica de Vitoria, e tem experiência na gestão de várias unidades da empresa, incluindo a fábrica de Itatiaia, no Brasil, de 2011 a 2016. Após gerir as fábricas de Aranda de Duero e Vitoria, ele se integrou à direção europeia de manufatura da Michelin em Clermont-Ferrand, na França, em 2023.
A transição de liderança está prevista para ocorrer no dia 1 de abril de 2026, marcando um novo capítulo para a Michelin na Península Ibérica.
