No dia 11 de outubro, a Delegacia Especializada de Investigações Criminais (DEIC) de Taubaté realizou uma operação chamada “Sem Fronteiras”, com a colaboração da Força Tática e da Rocam da Polícia Militar. A operação consistiu em diversas ações integradas para combater crimes na região.
As equipes da DEIC cumpriram mandados de busca relacionados à investigação de um homicídio. Durante a operação, o Grupo de Operações Especiais (GOE) também fez rondas especializadas para garantir a segurança da população e monitorar áreas com maiores índices de criminalidade.
A ação resultou na prisão de um homem por receptação, que é o crime de adquirir ou guardar bens sabendo que são produtos de roubo. Foram recuperados 67 pneus que haviam sido roubados. O responsável por armazenar esses pneus foi detido em flagrante.
Além disso, a operação levou à apreensão de duas motocicletas que constavam como roubadas. Essas motos foram encontradas no Residencial Bem Viver, localizado em Pindamonhangaba. Em Taubaté, a polícia também conseguiu capturar um homem que estava foragido da Justiça no bairro Três Marias.
Durante as buscas, celulares foram apreendidos e devem ser utilizados para ajudar nas investigações de um homicídio que está em andamento na DEIC. A operação destaca o empenho das forças de segurança em combater a criminalidade e proteger a comunidade local.
